The Chicago Women's March
This Saturday I attended the second inaugural Women's March in Chicago with 300,000 of my sisters. In a word it was AWESOME. A rollercoaster of emotion that filled me with awe, inspiration and admiration for the collective power we hold. And I met so many incredible women. There was the beautiful Iraqi woman on the train who told me "I've seen things go south before, if you have a voice, now is the time to use it". The wonderful 99 year old activist Bea Lumpkin who raised a fist like the bad ass she is. And the countless women who won't sit idly by as our country careens off track, some of whom are captured here...
